St. Louis, MO, March 23, 2009 – Paul Willenberg has received the LEED Accredited Professional™ certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
“Receiving this certification is a reflection of his hard work and dedication” said Gregory J. Nooney, Jr., SIOR, Managing Principal.
Paul has been with Coldwell Banker Commercial since 1992 and has over 16 years of maintenance and operations management experience. He is responsible for overseeing the maintenance services of over 3,000,000 s.f. of office, retail and industrial buildings and supervision of more than 10 maintenance employees. Paul handles construction management and capital improvement projects for many clients. He is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all environmental, fire and safety inspections for these buildings and has extensive training on Trane Tracer, Andover and Staefa energy management systems.
The LEED AP program is overseen and administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), a newly incorporated entity established with the support of the USGBC. GBCI also serves as a resource for the building industry providing access to tools, directories and information.
LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. A LEED Accredited Professional™ (LEED APs) has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System. More than 80,000 people have earned the credential since the Professional Accreditation program was launched in 2001.
